Final Cake Class!

This was my final Wilton Cake class. I am done with what they offer and now just keep looking for specialty classes. This cake is a classic Buttercream cake with a basket weave on the sides and royal icing flowers and Colorflow Birds.

How hard is the weaving? It looks great. I can't wait to see any results from a specialty class. We MAY be able to do this too, but you have a knack for it. I'll just wait till you cut and serve a piece. ;)

The weaving is not hard...just takes a long time and you have to do a specific pattern. I am not in love with Buttercream. My next Class is the 19 & 20th...I will be learning how to make the mad hatter, Topsy Turvy types of cakes. So basically it will look like its gonna fall over.
